SULLIVAN, JULIA M. "Julie", 88 -of Linwood, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Miss Sullivan was born and raised in County Kerry, Ireland. She came to the U.S. in 1953 on a work visa; she later became a United States citizens. She worked for the Liddy family, of New York City, NY, for almost 30 years. Julie moved to Linwood in the 1960's to help raise the three wonderful children of the late Maggie Smith (1999). Julie was an avid walker on the Linwood bike path - never to be seen without her little dog "Miss." She enjoyed the casinos and any Irish show that came to town. If you were lucky enough to have had Julie in your life; no matter how long or short, then you were lucky enough and blessed too!

She will be deeply missed by her loving "family": M. Merrie Griffin of Washington, D.C., J. David Griffin and his sons Zachary and Kyle of Vineland, Robert and Cindy Smith and their children Courtney and Justin (who she resided with in Linwood) and her faithful doggy - "Miss."

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Linwood. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 701 Route 50, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
